The aim of our association is to ensure that Ouston is a pleasant village in which people can live and bring up their families in a safe environment. Our Objectives are

  • To improve the quality of life for residents in Ouston.
  • To develop an Ouston improvement plan.
  • To encourage residents to voice their concerns about the village and its environs.
  • To hold regular monthly meetings to hear and discuss the views and concerns of Ouston residents.
  • To update Ouston Villagers regularly to keep them informed of projects.
  • To publish an Ouston Villagers’ Association newsletter five times a year in March, May, July, September and November.
  • To build relationships with County and Parish Councils, Durham Constabulary and other public services.
  • To work in partnership with other public services.

To work with other Villager/Resident Associations in Co Durham to support each other.

We meet every month on the third Wednesday of the Month between 7pm and 9pm
